Heres the plan:
I've gone through the bother of inventing dares I probably won't enjoy doing but that I'd enjoy seeing other friends do and came up with this list:
- Blind-folded for 24 hours = when donations reach £200 - I've always wondered how blind people know which clothes are clean and which are dirty in the morning and then which toothbrush is yours and there are 100 of actions I take for granted which 24 hours of being "blind" would make me aware of. So I reckon 24 hours of being blindfolded would be an entertaining way to find that out and raise a bit of jimmy cash for WaterAid.
- Shave every hair on my body = when donations reach £400 - This would be a laugh if I was still a student. Professionally it scares me, privately I'm looking forward to seeing how I look without eyebrows. My boss is never going to respect me again.
- Eat nothing but eggs for 48 hours = when donations reach £600 - Also fairly standard since I live of eggs with most main meals but this will be only eggs for breakfast, lunch and dins dins for 2 days. I'm going to add that condiments are permitted such as pepper, salt, oregano etc. I hope I still like eggs afterwards.
- Eat a terd = when donations reach £800 - The idea of this little project really started with eating a terd. Somebody in Malawi drinks dirty water. Somebody in India can't afford a toilet. I have clean water, a throne of a toilet and much much more that is an embarrassment when compared against what other people don't have. Eating my own terd won't be pleasant. People will think I'm a weirdo. No girl will ever kiss me again. But amongst my close male friends would I pay to see them eat their own terds? Yes I would! And how much better if that money went on to help Suki's family have better access to water...Yeh my flatmate says eating your own terd is too far. He thinks less is more. Hes french so he knows food. So I'll probably not eat my own terd and maybe just see if any other people have any ideas! Open to whatever suggestions!
Hopefully this is a fun way to raise some money for a very worthy cause. Actually looking at the dares, I think I will enjoy the novelty of the first 3 challenges and I'll try and make the videos interesting! The 4th challenge I'd probably nearly do anything so fire on in with suggestions.

Stuff I've enjoyed watching recently:
1) Marina Abramovic and Ulay "Marina Abramovic and Ulay started an intense love story in the 70s, performing art out of the van they lived in. When they felt the relationship had run its course, they decided to walk the Great Wall of China, meeting for one last time in the middle and never seeing each other again. At her 2010 MoMa retrospective Marina performed ‘The Artist Is Present’, a minute of silence with each stranger who sat in front of her. Ulay arrived without her knowing and this is what happened..."
2) Poetry Made Interesting Walk about with your arms open. I'm awful at that.
3) Slappin the bass man Genius
Go on stick a fiver on:)
